This Privacy Policy explains how Shots Hospitality Group (“SHOTS,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares information when you visit shotsbar.com (the “Site”). SHOTS is a brand-licensing business. We do not operate bars, take reservations or sell food or drinks through this Site.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the licensing inquiry form, we collect: full name, email address, phone number (optional), the city or market you are interested in, your investment plans (if selected) and any message you write. We also record the page you submitted the form from. If you email us directly at oscar@shotsbar.com, we receive whatever you include in that email.
Chat assistant
The Site includes an automated chat assistant that answers common questions from a fixed set of answers stored on the Site. Your chat messages are processed in your browser to find a matching answer. The assistant does not send your chat messages to us or to any outside service, and we do not store chat transcripts. If the assistant directs you to the inquiry form, only what you submit through that form reaches us. Please do not enter sensitive personal information in the chat.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider’s servers automatically log technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested and the date and time of the request. These logs are used for security, troubleshooting and site operation.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies for visitors. We use:
- Essential cookies set by WordPress and our hosting platform that are needed for the Site to work and stay secure.
- Google Fonts, which loads typefaces from Google’s servers. When your browser requests a font, Google receives your IP address and browser information. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Spam protection: the inquiry form uses built-in spam protection (a hidden anti-spam field).
If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy before doing so. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; essential features may not work without them.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your licensing inquiry and discuss territory availability with you.
- To evaluate whether a SHOTS license is a fit for your market.
- To keep the Site secure, prevent spam and abuse, and fix problems.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights, including our trademark rights.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. How your inquiry is delivered
When you submit the form, your information is sent by email to our licensing team at oscar@shotsbar.com. It is transmitted through our website hosting provider and our email provider, which act as service providers on our behalf.
5. When we share information
We share information only with: (a) service providers that host the Site, deliver email or provide spam protection; (b) professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants; (c) authorities when required by law or to protect our rights; and (d) a successor in connection with a merger, sale or reorganization of the business.
6. How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you and to manage any licensing discussion, and then for a reasonable period for our records, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or the law requires otherwise.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information you sent us, or to stop contacting you, by emailing oscar@shotsbar.com. Depending on where you live (for example, California, other U.S. states, the EU/EEA or the UK), you may have additional rights under local law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them. Visitors outside the United States should know that information is processed in the United States.
8. Security
The Site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us.
9. Children
The Site is intended for adults interested in a business license and is not directed to anyone under 21. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date shows when it last changed.
